Gourmet Provencal Cuisine
The gourmet restaurant "Lou Marques" in Arles offers traditional style Provencal cuisine characterized by delicately prepared specialty dishes made from the finest seasonal ingredients with sweet scents of Provence.
Head Chefs Pascal Renaud and Joseph Kriz will suggest to you fragrant and well-balanced dishes. Following your meal, the dessert will be prepared by Chef Anne Beyl.
ON THE RESTAURANT MENU
The seasonal culinary creations are quite variable. Typically the menu includes dishes with Saint Jacques, sea urchins, red mullet, as well as smoked foie gras, roast piglet with toasted hazelnuts, duck breast, followed by deserts like apple fondant, caramelized cinnamon, emulsion caramel, and ice cream with gingerbread, coconut pearl, heart flowing with mango, soft pistachio, and exotic sorbet.
Among the dishes we enjoyed particularly are Oysters au gratin, marinated tuna, Camargue Sandre and the Papetons of eggplant and tomato confit.
